HONOR to Launch Global HONOR 90 Series on July 6
HONOR has officially announced that it will be launching the HONOR 90 series smartphones, including the HONOR 90 and HONOR 90 Pro, globally on July 6th in a Paris event. These devices were initially introduced in China last month, and HONOR stated that they would soon be available in global markets with Google Mobile Services (GMS) support.
Key Features of the HONOR 90 Series To recap, these smartphones boast a 6.7-inch quad-curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz PWM Dimming technology. The HONOR 90 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 782G found in the HONOR 80. On the other hand, the HONOR 90 Pro retains the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from the HONOR 80 Pro, ensuring high-performance capabilities.
In terms of camera capabilities, both phones feature a remarkable 200MP main camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor that supports 16-in-1 pixel binning equivalent to 2.24µm large pixels. Additionally, there is a 12MP ultra-wide camera included.
The HONOR 90 is equipped with a 2MP depth camera, while the Pro model incorporates a 32MP telephoto camera. Both devices offer a 50MP front-facing camera, while the Pro model takes it a step further with an additional 2MP secondary front camera.
